73 Impala Lowrider built by us

This 73 Impala Lowrider was the First Lowrider that YourCustomCar.com ever built. This giant sled could throw some serious sparks! So much so that we had to replace the entire frame after we dragged it so much that the cross member under the motor thinned out so much that it snapped. We decided to go ahead and find another frame in which we could reinforce for Hydro Dancing and Hopping competitions. The original motor and transmission were the next to go. The motor was replaced with a GM 350cid Crate motor and the trany was replaced with a rebuilt Turbo 350.
