Our bolt in Dakota notch will help you get your 97-02 Dodge Dakota lower in the rear without bottoming out on your frame rail!  This notch is perfect for those of you who don't want to install a huge step notch for your mildly lowered Dakota.  After installing, your rear axle will be able to travel upwards past the original location of the frame rail where you would normally bottom out! This is installed by bolting them to the rear frame rails directly above your axle and then cutting the frame between the notch area.
