The 2010 Southeast Showdown was held at the Anderson County Fairgrounds in Anderson, SC on July24-25. It was an event packed car show with hundreds of custom rides showing off their modifications. I arrived at around 10:00am and by 12:00 the place was packed. It was great to see such a variety of custom cars and trucks show up at this event center!

Some of the activities at this show included all day cruising around the fairgrounds, plenty of vendors to check out, a sound off, helicopter rides, and tons of hot cars and trucks! Speaking of hot, the sun was out all weekend and the temperature was around 100 degrees or so. It was a little hot for me and about 400 other people, but the frequent breeze helped us continue on.

CUSTOM CARS

There weren't many Scions at the 2010 Southeast Showdown, but those that were there were incredible	Slammed Lexus and off road go kart
This 95 Fully Custom Honda Civic tied for Best Debuting car, or Best of Show Car	The interior, including the floor is fully fiberglassed with plenty of aftermarket gauges and mobile audio/video
Custom Lexan Sun roof to let the rays shine in on the custom interior	The trunk of this custom Civic was full of amplifiers for both the sound and amplifiers (NO2) for the engine!
Kind of reminds me of Transformers	The carbon hood and candy paint on this hot import
This Altima was spotless and it owner was ready to do some riding	Mean 350z at Southeast Showdown 2010
The muscle car lineup at the show was pretty impressive and this Ford was looking just as good!	I don't remember seeing a whole lot of Black Mustangs of this Genre, but this Mustang was one of the best I've ever seen!
Yep its a first Gen Corolla!	This car was flawless and is probably a pretty nice collectors' item too!
This Chevy was Just as mean as it is blue!	1968 Camaro SS What a dream!
This was another Outstanding VW Beetle at the 2010 Southeast Showdown	This Olds had some serious BEAT!
Who would win at a stoplight???	This little GTO had a Lot of GO!
With 500 CID under the hood of this Galaxy, I don't think too many are going to beat it on the strip!	Nice touch of custom pin-striping on the hood
This 2000+ Impala had been customized inside and out	I had a conversation about this Gran Tourino and was curious if the value had increased since Clint made that movie a coupler years ago

I don't know what this vehicle is, but it was very cool, and had an impressive roof chop too!	You should have heard the sound of this open header engine...talk about LOUD!

CUSTOM FULLSIZE TRUCKS
This Suburban from Pebble Pushers has been thoroughly slammed on air	It also has an 2004+ front clip conversion grafted in place
Ray's 2005 GMC Sierra took the Southeast Showdown 2010 Best Debuting Fullsize Award along with a hefty cash prize!	Ray got those Suicide doors working right. He had trouble in the past...

This is the kind of body work and paint that helps you achieve Fullsize Best of Show like Ray did	The detail that went into this bed is phenomenal!

Heres a little fullsize truck nostalgia for ya!	That air tank fell out after the owner gunned the truck. Being the trucks air supply, the truck immediately went to the ground. Better strap that thing in a little tighter!

The rasised bed floor in this custom F150 was made of wood just like truck were originally produced in the 50s. Nice touch!	Slammed duallies are bad ass!
This custom GMC C-10 was immaculate and very nicely built	I only wish my engine compartment looked this good! That Chevy powerhouse under the hood was detail to perfection!
