The Streetwise Drift Pro Am Challenge and Drop Jaw Magazine Custom Car Show was held at Charlotte Motor Speedway in Charlotte, NC on 04-17-10. It was a pretty exciting atmosphere over there at the speedway. After I pulled up, and got my Impala set up and detailed in the huge center area of the speedway, I could hear tires screeching to my left, stereos bumping to my right, and all the while, Nascar racers were doing practice on the huge oval track surrounding us all! Kind of hard to concentrate, or even hear what your friends are trying to say to you with all of that going on!

The weather was absolutely perfect for a car show like this! The pollen this time of year tends to make dark colored cars turn a sickly green color, but we all had our dusters out to keep our rides shining in the sun.

Maybe someone needs to make a North Carolina Car duster instead of us all using California Car Dusters. Ours would have to be twice as big with the dust our cars and trucks collect during this time of year!

Although there were several very nice show cars on display, to be honest the show didn't have the turnout (number of show cars) that was hoped for. This show was only advertised for for three weeks and sometimes, that just isn't enough time for the word to spread, according to Drop Jaw. Drop Jaw did announce that they would be back to give this another try with the Street Wise Drift Crew in June or July for a similar event at the Zmax Dragway. I had a Great time at the show and will definitely be back next time. My Impala was awarded the "Jaw Dropper of The Show Award," and I was very honored to receive such a special award at a home-town show!

This Pathfinder belongs to a new friend I made at the show. It was Super clean and had some cool mods for the Streetwise Drift Drop Jaw Car Show!	It had some knock in it too!
The dash was fully cobvered in carbon-fiber panels	Cold air intake and some other nice mods under the hood of the Pathfinder
This girls Scion was customized to be the way she wanted it!	The color added to the valve color (pink) helped to dress up the engine compartment, along with the "white-glove" cleanliness!
There's one way to show the love you have for your car!	The interior of this Scion TC had been shown some love too.
It had some "junk" in the trunk. Looks loud to me!	A lot of work went into this custom honda accord, but it could use some finishing touches...

This 240sx had a unique orange candy paint job, body kit, wheels, engine mods just to name a few!	I'm sure this 240 could really cook!
The trunk wazsd full of subs and electronics. It was entered into the sound off competition as well!	This Mitsubishishi Lancer had plenty of engine mods, and many other add-ons too

Dragon Slayer? This Mitsubishi was ready for battle!	It had some nice touches added to the interior...

The blue and white two-tone on this Celica was immaculate and very nicely laid out at the Streetwise Drift Drop Jaw Car Show!	Some of the blue even made it onto the wheels. Nice touch!
Check out the Celica's interior. I couldn't find a spec of dust or dirt!	This is the Celica Trunk Space. Nice way to fill it up!
This Custom Camaro got The Best Wheel and Tire award! I can see why!	The billet grilles and the engine details really made this 2010 RS Camaro POP!
This Pontiac had some serious mods too!	Check out the detail that went into the engine compartment
The racing seats in this family car, converted to a show car, were nice touches to add to the overall appearance for this car at the Streetwise Drift Drop Jaw Car Show	Yes that is a nitrous bottle you see peeking out of the trunk just behind the subs! Nice mod to the tails too!
On the other end of the Camaro spectrum was this beautiful purple Camaro that was detailed and assembled to perfection.	This picture should describe itself, but if not, the engine compartment in this Camaro was incredible!
The interior of this Camaro was restored to perfection in my opinion!	The LEDtail lights on this camaro really caught my eye until I saw a huge TV in the trunk. Very cool! "Modern Technology Meets an Old School car," coming to a theater near you! LOL
The other red Pontiac at the show was also layed out very nicely. Dont get too close!	Velvet cover engine compartment panels, polished engine components and a carbon hood are some of the mods you can see in this pic
I can only imagine how long it took to get that dash glassed and sanded to look like that!	Those door panels were insane too! Check out how the tweeters were mounted. Way to go!
This Pontiac had some power in its trunk too!	I had to hurry back to my Impala before someone touched it!
You're not having fun until the Donks show up. The Carolina-fan Caprice was definitely ridin' high!	Huge Disks behind his 24's helped to continue the color theme from top to bottom, and front to back.
I started to get hungry after I saw this donk bubble roll into the show. A lot of detail work went into the trix cereal images on this car to make them look realistic	The custom front grille on this Donk Caprice only added to the flavor!
Wow there is a lot of color in this car! I can five or 6 different colors in this car! I bet the huge overhead TV was sporting color too!	It ain't Trixin' if you got it!
A lot of hard work on your show car can be very satisfying to receive a "Best of Show" award like this at the Streetwise Drift Drop Jaw Car Show! Special thanks to Drop Jaw Magazine and Streetwise drift for bringing us the show! See you at the next one!
